Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 September 2026
1. Who we are
Growth Garage ("we", "us", "our") is operated by OnFoot Detailing (Pty) LTD.
Contact: admin@growthgarage.site
This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it.
2. Which laws apply
We are based in South Africa and market to people in Australia and New Zealand. We aim to handle your information consistently with:
- the Protection of Personal Information Act 2013 (POPIA) (South Africa)
- the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, for our Australian users
- the Privacy Act 2020 and the Information Privacy Principles, for our New Zealand users
Where those regimes differ, we apply the standard most protective of you.
3. What we collect
Information you give us
- Registration: name, email address, phone number
- Intake form: your role in your business, how long you have been trading, the country your business is based in, your business's monthly income band, the capital you have available to invest, your hiring history, your main frustration, and how long you have followed Conrad
- Purchase: billing name, billing address, and the details required by our payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- During the program: anything you share on calls, in the community, or in materials you send us, including advertising footage
- Correspondence: emails, SMS messages and support requests
Information we collect automatically
- IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and browser type, operating system
- Pages visited, time on page, referring URL, and how you reached us
- Advertising identifiers, including the Meta click identifier (
fbclid) and the campaign, ad set and ad you came from - Cookies and similar technologies (see section 7)
Note on financial information. The income and capital questions in our intake form ask about your business, not your personal finances. We collect them to assess fit and to tailor the event. We treat them as confidential commercial information and do not publish them or share them with other participants.
4. How we collect it
Directly from you, when you fill in a form, buy, email us or speak to us; and automatically, through cookies and tracking technologies when you use our site (see section 7).
We may also receive limited information from advertising platforms about which campaign you came from.
5. Why we use it
| Purpose | Examples |
|---|---|
| Deliver what you asked for | Send your webinar link and reminders; give you access to the program |
| Assess fit | Review your intake answers and prioritise follow-up |
| Communicate | Answer questions, send program updates, provide support |
| Marketing | Send you information about Growth Garage and related offers, subject to section 8 |
| Improve | Understand which ads and pages work, and improve our content and offer |
| Advertising measurement | Measure campaign results and reach similar audiences (see section 7) |
| Legal and financial | Process payments, keep records, meet tax and legal obligations, resolve disputes |
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information.
We share it with:
- Service providers who operate our business, including: our form provider (Tally), our email and SMS provider and CRM GoHigh Level, our payment provider Whop and Commas, our webinar platform WebinarJam. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
- Advertising platforms, principally Meta (Facebook and Instagram), for advertising measurement and audience matching. Where we send identifiers such as your email address for this purpose, they are hashed before transmission, converted into a scrambled value that Meta uses only to match against its own records. We do not send your intake form answers, including your income or capital answers, to any advertising platform.
- Our team and contractors, who are bound to keep your information confidential.
- Professional advisers and authorities, where we are required by law or need to establish or defend a legal claim.
7. Cookies, the Meta Pixel and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used, and measure our advertising.
We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API. These tell Meta when someone takes an action on our site — such as registering for a webinar — so we can measure which ads work and show ads to people with similar profiles. This involves sharing the limited data described in section 6 with Meta, which acts as an independent controller of that data under its own terms.
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can manage ad personalisation in your Meta account settings. Blocking cookies may stop parts of the site working.
8. Marketing messages and your consent
When you register or purchase, we will send you emails and SMS messages about the event, the program and related offers.
You can opt out at any time:
- Email — the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any message
- SMS — reply STOP
- Or — email admin@growthgarage.site
We will action opt-outs promptly. You will still receive messages necessary to deliver a program you have paid for, such as your access details.
Every marketing message we send will identify us and include a working unsubscribe method, consistent with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) in Australia and the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 in New Zealand.
9. Sending information overseas
We are based in South Africa, so your information is accessed and stored there.
Our service providers and advertising platforms are located in other countries, including the United States and the European Union.
This means your personal information will be transferred outside Australia and New Zealand. We take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with this policy, including by using providers who commit to appropriate data protection standards. By using our site and services, you acknowledge these transfers.
10. How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it:
- Enquiries and registrations that don't convert: up to 2 years, unless you ask us to delete it sooner
- Customers: for the program and then as long as we must for tax, accounting and legal purposes generally 2 years after your last payment
- Financial records: as required by law
11. Keeping it secure
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including access controls, reputable providers, and limiting access to people who need it. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the relevant regulator as required by law.
12. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct it if it is wrong, out of date or incomplete
- Delete it, where we are not required to keep it
- Stop marketing to you (see section 8)
Email admin@growthgarage.site. We may need to verify your identity. We will respond within a reasonable time, and within any period the law requires.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to:
- Australia — Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), oaic.gov.au
- New Zealand — Office of the Privacy Commissioner, privacy.org.nz
- South Africa — Information Regulator, inforegulator.org.za
13. Children
Our services are for business owners aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
14. Third-party links
Our site and emails may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before giving them your information.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will publish changes here and update the "last updated" date. If a change is significant, we will tell you directly.
