Terms and Conditions

1. About us

Growth Garage ("Growth Garage", "we", "us", "our") is operated by OnFoot Detailing (Pty) LTD.

Contact: admin@growthgarage.site

We are based in South Africa and supply services to customers in Australia, New Zealand and elsewhere.

2. Agreement to these terms

These terms apply when you use this website, register for one of our webinars or masterclasses, submit an enquiry or application, or purchase the Growth Garage program.

By doing any of those things you confirm that you have read and accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site or purchase the program.

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase.

3. The Growth Garage program

Growth Garage is a 24-week done-with-you business coaching and implementation program for car detailing business owners, built around the Backend Detailing Method.

The program includes coaching calls, SOP and systems templates, hiring and onboarding frameworks, ad creative scripting and editing, the Subcontractor Playbook, community access, etc.

The program does not include:

  • Your own advertising spend. Running ads for your business requires a separate budget, payable by you to the ad platform, which we estimate at approximately AU$500–1,000 per month. This is not paid to us and is not included in the program fee.
  • Any guarantee of clients, revenue, profit or business outcomes. See section 8.
  • Legal, tax, accounting, financial or employment advice. We are not licensed to provide it. You are responsible for obtaining your own professional advice, including on hiring, employment law and tax in your jurisdiction.

We may improve or adjust program content, delivery format and schedule over time. We will not materially reduce the substance of what you purchased.

4. Price and payment

The fee for the program is the amount shown at checkout at the time you purchase, in the currency shown. That amount, and any payment schedule shown with it, form part of your agreement with us and are confirmed in your order confirmation email.

Prices are shown in the currency stated at checkout and are inclusive of any taxes we are required to charge.

We may change our pricing, and may offer different pricing to different cohorts or at different times. Any change applies only to purchases made after the change. It does not affect a fee you have already agreed to pay.

Payment options, including any instalment or payment plan we offer, are as shown at checkout. If you pay by instalments, you remain liable for the full fee, and we may suspend access if an instalment is not paid and remains unpaid after we have notified you and given you a reasonable opportunity to fix it.

Payments are processed by our payment provider, Whop. We do not store your full card details.

You are responsible for any currency conversion costs, international transaction fees or taxes your bank or card issuer applies.

5. Your responsibilities

The program is done-with-you. Your results depend substantially on your own work. To get value from it you will need to:

  • Attend or watch the coaching sessions
  • Implement the systems, templates and processes in your own business
  • Film yourself and your work for advertising creative. Our team scripts and edits; you record the footage. If you are unwilling to appear on camera, the program's advertising component will not work for you.
  • Fund your own advertising spend (see section 3)
  • Operate a genuine, active detailing business

6. Eligibility

Growth Garage is designed for established owner-operator detailing businesses. We may decline any application, or decline to proceed after a call, where we do not believe the program is a good fit. If we decline you before you have paid, you owe us nothing. If we decline after payment, we will refund you in full.

7. Refunds and cancellation

Because the program is delivered over an extended period and access to materials is provided immediately, we do not offer a general right to cancel simply because you change your mind.

Some of our offers carry a specific guarantee. Where a guarantee, refund term or other offer term was presented to you at the time you purchased, for example during a masterclass or webinar, or in a written offer those terms apply to your purchase. They are recorded in your order confirmation email, which is the record of what was agreed.

If you are not sure which terms applied to your purchase, email admin@growthgarage.site and we will confirm them in writing.

Any such guarantee is in addition to, and does not limit or replace, the rights described in section 9.

Where no specific guarantee applied to your purchase, your rights are those described in section 9.

8. No guarantee of results or earnings

Growth Garage does not guarantee any particular business result, revenue, profit, number of clients, or income.

Any figures, case studies, examples or results mentioned on this website, in our advertising, in our webinars or during sales conversations are illustrative only. They are not a promise, projection or guarantee of what you will achieve.

Where we refer to the results of our own detailing business, those figures are revenue, not profit, and are stated in the currency shown. Our own results are not a representation of what you or any other participant will achieve.

Your results will depend on factors largely outside our control, including your own effort and skill, the time you commit, your existing customer base, your local market, your pricing, your staff, competition, and general economic conditions.

You should not purchase this program on the assumption that you will earn back the fee.

9. Australian Consumer Law and New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or, if you are in New Zealand, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ), where those rights cannot lawfully be excluded.

If you are an Australian consumer, our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law — including that services will be supplied with due care and skill, will be reasonably fit for any purpose we have described, and will be supplied within a reasonable time.

You are entitled to cancel a service contract and to a refund for any unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value, if we fail to meet a consumer guarantee. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage caused by our failure to meet a consumer guarantee.

These rights apply regardless of whether you purchase as an individual or through a business, where the price of the services is below the threshold set by the Australian Consumer Law. [REVIEWER: confirm the current threshold and that the drafting is correct.]

To the extent we are permitted to do so, where a guarantee applies and the failure is not a major failure, we may choose between supplying the services again or refunding you.

10. Limitation of liability

Subject always to section 9, and to the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, data or goodwill.
  • Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the program or these terms is limited to the total amount you have paid us.

Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or non-excludable consumer guarantees.

11. Webinars, masterclasses and free content

Registration for our webinars and masterclasses is free.

By registering you agree that we may contact you about the event and about the Growth Garage program, in line with section 13 and our Privacy Policy.

Our free content is general information for detailing business owners. It is not personalised business, financial, legal or tax advice, and it does not take your specific circumstances into account.

Webinar sessions may be recorded. If you join by video or ask a question live, you may be recorded. If you do not want to appear, keep your camera off and submit questions in writing.

12. Intellectual property

All program materials — including recordings, templates, SOPs, scripts, playbooks, frameworks and written content — are owned by us or licensed to us.

When you purchase, you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use those materials in your own business for as long as we make them available.

You may not share, resell, republish, distribute or upload the materials, provide your login to anyone else, or use the materials to build or deliver a competing coaching, training or consulting product.

You keep ownership of everything you create in your own business, including your own advertising footage. You grant us a licence to use footage, testimonials and results you provide to us for our own marketing, unless you tell us in writing that you do not want us to.

13. Communications

When you register or purchase, you agree that we may send you emails and SMS messages about the event you registered for, the program, and related offers.

You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by replying STOP to any SMS. We will action it promptly. You will still receive messages that are necessary to deliver a program you have paid for.

See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

14. Acceptable use

You must not misuse this website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, scrape it, or use it for anything unlawful.

Within any community or group attached to the program, you must not harass other members, spam them, or recruit them to other offers. We may remove anyone who does, without refund, subject to section 9.

15. Termination

We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms — including by sharing program materials or misusing the community — after giving you notice and a reasonable chance to fix the problem where the breach can be fixed.

If we end your access for a serious breach, you are not entitled to a refund, subject always to section 9.

16. Privacy

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the version published when you purchased. We will publish any changes on this page and update the "last updated" date.

18. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION — REVIEWER TO ADVISE: South Africa as supplier's home jurisdiction, or an Australian state].

Nothing in this section prevents you from bringing a claim, or accessing any remedy or complaints process, available to you under the Australian Consumer Law, the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act, or the consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
